The authorized renter must be 25 or older with a valid driver’s license. Additional drivers must be 21 or older. Up to 3 drivers per reservation.
Rentals are by the day in 24-hour increments with a 2-day minimum. Pickup is between 3:00–6:00 PM; drop-off by 10:00 AM fully charged. (Delivery & pickup not available for WaterColor rentals.)
Reservations require a $100 deposit by credit card (Visa, MC, Discover, or Amex). Remaining balance is charged up to one week before arrival.
Booking your Emerald Coast golf cart rental is easy. Our online reservation system lets you choose your dates, select your cart size, and enter your delivery address — all in minutes. Here’s how it works:
Carts fill up fast during peak season. We recommend booking at least 2–4 weeks in advance for summer and holiday weekends.

The Electric Cart Company accepts reservations up to one year in advance. We reserve the right to correct or adjust rates to the published rates for specific vehicles at the time of the reservation, in the event that they have been misquoted due to human and/or computer error. An upfront charge of $100.00 will be processed to your credit card to confirm your reservation. The remaining balance will be processed to the credit card on file up to one (1) week prior to your arrival.
We require our guests to be 25 or older to rent from the Electric Cart Company.
We require our guests to be 21 or older with a valid driver’s license to drive an LSV.
Yes. Safety of all occupants of an LSV as well as the safety of other vehicles, pedestrians and bicyclists is of paramount importance. Violations are subject to all applicable sanctions, including citations, fines, booting, towing and arrest.
You are responsible for your parking citations and fines while operating our vehicle in WaterColor. We reserve the right to charge the credit card on file for any unpaid violations during your rental period, regardless of the time frame.
You may have a total of three drivers. All drivers are required to be licensed and 21 years or older. If you are pulled over and driving underage, driving recklessly, or driving under the influence, we will be contacted by security or the Walton County Sheriff’s office at which point the LSV will be confiscated with no refund.
LSVs are registered as automobiles; all laws mirror the use of the LSV as does your automobile. No lap riding, and if a child requires an LSV seat in your automobile, they must be in a car seat in the LSV.
Yes! For our General Beach Fleet, we deliver directly to your address along 30A and the surrounding Emerald Coast area. Pickup hours are 3–6 PM; drop-off by 10 AM. Note: Delivery does NOT apply to WaterColor Rentals.
We recommend booking as early as possible — up to one year in advance. Summer and holiday weekends fill up quickly. A $100 deposit secures your dates.
Our LSVs are street legal and can be driven on roads with a posted speed limit of 35 mph or less. All Florida rules of the road apply. WaterColor has additional community rules — see our WaterColor Fleet FAQ for details.
